About the Mortimer Street Location
This is one of only two Ted's shops offering VIP treatments. The other is Avery Row in Mayfair. VIP services are performed in a dedicated area and must be booked ahead.
Mortimer Street is named after the Earl of Oxford. The area between here and Fitzrovia is home to many of London's media and broadcasting companies, with the BBC's former Broadcasting House nearby on Portland Place. The Charlotte Street Ted's is the nearest alternative, roughly five to ten minutes on foot heading east, giving men in the area a second option for a haircut.
